What is a "Uroko" strap? A thorough explanation of the charm of the ingenious guitar straps that 708works prides itself on.
What is a "Uroko Strap"? 708works' original guitar strap
We often receive questions from customers asking, "What is a Uroko Strap?"
A Uroko Strap (Scale Strap) is the common name for a uniquely designed guitar strap created by 708works, which is made by connecting numerous "scale-shaped" parts.
The name originated from a customer's comment. When we first started selling them, we received many comments saying, "It’s a strap that looks like scales!" We naturally began calling them "Uroko Straps," and it is a term we have come to cherish ourselves.
There are 3 standard models of Uroko Straps
Although we call them "Uroko Straps" collectively, we offer multiple models depending on the design and intended use. Another feature is that each one has its own name.
① folklore|The standard model for guitar and bass
Born in 2017, this is the brand icon of 708works. It is a standard Uroko Strap designed for professional instruments like guitars and basses.

3 reasons why Uroko Straps are chosen
At first glance, the Uroko Strap might seem like an unusual design. However, we have received many happy comments from customers who have actually used it, saying, "It is very easy to use."
1. No buckle, so it never gets in the way
It lacks the length-adjustment buckle found on standard guitar straps. You are freed from the stress of it catching on your hands or clothes while performing.
2. No metal parts, protecting your instrument
We use absolutely no metal parts so that you don't have to worry about scratching the body or finish of your precious instrument. It is also recommended for those who use vintage instruments.
3. Fits the shoulder better than expected and reduces fatigue
Because the scale-shaped parts flexibly contour to your shoulder line, it is reputed to be comfortable even during long performances.
Regarding questions about "durability"
Due to the unique structure, we are often asked, "Is it durable enough?"
You can rest assured with our guitar model, folklore, for guitars and basses of standard weight (3.0kg–5.0kg). In fact, it is loved by professional musicians who use it without issue even during intense stage performances.
*Since wear and degradation are unavoidable depending on the environment and frequency of use, we do not guarantee its durability indefinitely.
Your own unique piece. We also accept color orders
