Can you make custom soundhole covers? For guitars and ukuleles [Genuine leather, customizable to the millimeter]

Are you struggling to find a soundhole cover that fits your instrument?

We often hear from players of mini guitars and unique ukuleles that "commercially available soundhole covers don't fit" or that "they only come in wood or rubber and don't match the aesthetic of the instrument."

For those individuals, 708works offers genuine leather soundhole covers that can be custom-ordered in 1mm increments. They are well-received not only for silencing ukuleles during late-night practice but also for effectively suppressing feedback on acoustic-electric guitars.

What 708works soundhole covers can do for you

① Custom sizing in 1mm increments

You can order in 1mm increments, ranging from 7cm to 11cm for guitars, and 4cm to 6.9cm for ukuleles. We will craft the perfect size to match your specific instrument.

② Color customization and personalized engraving

You can choose your own custom color to match the finish of your instrument, resulting in a one-of-a-kind piece. We also offer a personalized engraving service, making these covers an ideal gift for someone special.

③ The elegant luster and instrument-friendly nature of genuine leather

Mainstream soundhole covers are typically made of wood, rubber, or plastic, which can sometimes look a bit intrusive when installed. By using leather (genuine hide), we achieve a subtle luster and flexibility, which is a major advantage as it minimizes the risk of scratching your instrument.

Check out the actual sound-muting effects in our videos

Finally, we would like to share two videos testing the muting effectiveness of our soundhole covers. Personally, I hope you enjoy this product not only as a sound-muting tool but also as a decorative accessory for your instrument. The feedback suppression effect is particularly high, so I highly recommend this for those who play acoustic-electric or electric-classical guitars live. We recommend listening with headphones.

*The videos use a prototype filmed during the planning stage. The actual product design may differ slightly.

It is such a favorite piece of mine that I often wonder, "Why haven't leather soundhole covers existed until now?" I hope you will treat your instrument to a one-of-a-kind soundhole cover of its own.
