This attachment is used to fasten a guitar strap to guitars or ukuleles that have only one strap pin.
Many acoustic guitars and ukuleles only have a strap pin on one side (at the bottom of the body), which traditionally meant that an additional strap pin had to be installed on the instrument to attach a guitar strap.
By using this attachment, there is no need to modify your instrument.
Furthermore, you can attach it without having to modify the guitar strap itself.
How to use
1. Loosen and remove the screw fitting (screw cap) on the back of each attachment using a coin or a flat-head screwdriver.
2. Spread the leather part of the attachment open and sandwich the guitar strap between the two pieces of leather.
3. Adjust the strap so that the screw fitting can pass through the hole where the guitar's strap pin would normally go, then tighten the screw cap removed in step "1" using a coin or a flat-head screwdriver.
*The screw may loosen over time with long-term use, so please be sure to check it before use.
We recommend using a commercially available liquid threadlocker (such as LOCTITE 243) to prevent the screw from loosening.
